About The Position
The Part-Time Ice Arena Attendant is responsible for performing custodial, maintenance, and ice care duties at the ice arena to ensure a clean, safe, and operational facility for all users. The role aims to inspire and prepare each scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and engage in a lifetime of learning.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to safely operate a Zamboni (training may be provided)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Learn to operate Zamboni to prepare and maintain ice surfaces
- Clean restrooms, lobby, bleachers, and promptly address spills
- Maintain exterior grounds, including shoveling snow and removing trash or debris
- Perform other related duties as assigned
