Requirements

1+ years of experience in a Human Resources Specialist, Assistant or Generalist
1-2 years of experience in full cycle recruiting
Knowledge of or previous experience utilizing an HRIS and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

Be the first point of contact for all employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Own the full cycle recruiting process – post, source, screen, manage external partners, schedule interviews, prepare offer letters, and conduct all reference, and background checks.
Processing bi-weekly payroll for hourly and exempt employees.
Work closely with management on hiring, onboarding, and training activities.
Conduct all onboarding and new-hire orientations.
Maintain all electronic employee files and documents within HRIS.
Manage and process expense reimbursements and travel programs in Concur.
Assist in the proper communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, employee directory, and organizational chart, and contribute to policy development.
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
Oversee Unemployment Compensation claims and settlements.
Track and promote employee wellness programs.
Create, execute, and manage employee culture, engagement, and recognition events.
Recommend strategies to motivate employees.
Maintains job descriptions and posts.
Update internal and external company announcements.
Suggest new procedures and policies for improving employee experience as well as the efficiency of HR department and company.
Other duties as assigned.
