About The Position

This is a highly physical job in a fast-paced environment on an active horse breeding farm. An exceptional opportunity for students interested in the equine industry or veterinary school. Daily schedule includes feeding and caring for approximately seventy horses, ranging from newborn foals to yearlings to adult mares and stallions. Tasks include but are not limited to cleaning stalls, stacking hay, mowing, caring for sick horses, working with young horses under supervision, feeding, farm maintenance, and helping with breeding.

Requirements

  • Strong work ethic
  • Prior horse experience is preferred
  • Operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
  • Standard background checks
