About The Position
Primrose School of North Meridian is looking for caring, reliable Part-Time Floating Assistant Teachers to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working with children of all ages in a supportive, high-quality early learning environment. As a floating assistant, you’ll support multiple classrooms and work with children ranging from 6 weeks through 5 years old, all while maintaining low teacher-to-child ratios. Schedule Options Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM At Primrose School of North Meridian, we value our teachers and provide the support and structure needed to succeed. Requirements
- Meets Idaho childcare licensing requirements
- A positive attitude and flexibility to work with various age groups
- Dependable, caring, and team-oriented
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in early childhood education preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Assist in classrooms across different age groups as needed
- Support daily routines, activities, and classroom management
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment
- Build positive relationships with children, teachers, and families
- Follow all school policies and state licensing requirements
