About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining the outer premises, including lawn care and cleaning, and assisting with fleet vehicle maintenance. The position also involves general handyman tasks, inventory monitoring, mail delivery, securing facilities, and performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Full- time Student or High School Diploma
- 0-3 years of experience
- Knowledge of use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances
- Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components
- Familiarity with basic landscaping and handyman practices
- Attention to detail and conscientiousness
- Very good physical condition and strength
- Ability to use a mower and trimmer.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outer premises by watering plants and providing lawn care
- Keep all entrances, walks and parking areas clean and free of trash and lawn clippings
- Utilize insecticides to prevent infestation by dangerous pests
- Help maintain fleet vehicles
- Monitor assigned supply inventory levels and reorder as necessary
- Deliver and receive mail and other packages to and from postal carriers; ensure mail and packages are delivered to appropriate personnel
- Report major damages and oversee repairs
- Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors and setting up the alarm
- Undertake lifting heavy items, moving chairs, moving tables, etc.
- Ability to use a mower and trimmer.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
