About The Position

The City of Sharonville is actively recruiting for a Part-Time Firefighter/EMT. Under the direction of the assigned Lieutenant, the Part-Time Firefighter/EMT will perform a variety of routine and emergent departmental services. Twelve- and 24-hour sign-up shifts, as well as 24/6 rotations, are available, with a limit of 1,500 hours worked per calendar year. Qualified candidates should have excellent technical, customer service, and communication skills; knowledge of emergency medical and fire suppression techniques; and the ability to work well with all levels of the general public.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Firefighter Level 1 certification in the State of Ohio
• Must possess a valid EMT-Basic certification in the State of Ohio
• Excellent technical, customer service, and communication skills
• Knowledge of emergency medical and fire suppression techniques
• Ability to work well with all levels of the general public

Nice To Haves

• Level 2 certification preferred
