Part-Time Faculty - Bachelors of Education (Central)
About The Position
Part-Time Faculty teach coursework related to Child Development/Early Childhood Education and Education (Academic). Applications are accepted continuously and reviewed as openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the course. A portion of the teaching assignment may involve evening and possibly weekend classes. Courses may be delivered through various methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, and may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Faculty are required to develop course curricula. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Education or Child Development/Early Childhood.
- At least 18 graduate hours in Child Development and/or Early Childhood.
- Three years of work experience with young children.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience teaching Education or Child Development/Early Childhood coursework in higher education.
- Experience teaching children in a classroom setting.
