The School of Social & Behavioral Sciences invites applications for various Part-Time Faculty positions for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. Opportunities to teach multiple/additional courses may become available. Successful candidates will teach, develop course materials, assist students as needed, and assess student work. Candidates will be contacted on an as-needed basis. There are opportunities available to teach the below course(s): SOCW350 Addictions and Relationships This course critically examines the nature of alcohol and other drugs of dependence, addiction, and its impact on the individual, various relationships in their life, and especially the family. The physiological, psychological, and social impact of substance abuse on groups, including women, children, and adolescents, will be addressed. Students will develop engagement, assessment, intervention, and evaluation skills to best serve individuals who struggle with addictions and the impact on their relationships. Offered Monday evenings 6:30pm-9:00pm.
