About The Position

The School of Nursing & Health Sciences at Vermont State University invites applicants for a Part-Time teaching position for Fall 2026 (August 21 - December 18, 2026). The course to be taught is PED 2160 - Emergency Care & Personal Safety. This course will provide the participant with essential information for developing the functional first aid capabilities of a first responder. As a crucial link in the EMS system, first responders evaluate and treat patients until more advanced medical help can arrive. Students will challenge national first aid and emergency cardiac care certification examinations at the completion of the course.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or better in a related field or equivalent experience
  • CPR/First Aid Instructor Certification
