Part-Time Faculty, Fire and Safety Engineering Technology
About The Position
The Department of Justice, Safety, & Military Science at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time faculty position teaching courses in the Fire and Safety Engineering Technology program. Courses may be in Fire Protection Administration, Fire Protection and Safety Engineering Technology, and/or Fire, Arson, and Explosion Investigation. Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs. Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs arise. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at application; official transcripts are required when an offer is made and as a condition of employment. The position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Offers of employment are contingent upon a satisfactory background check.
Requirements
- Meet the requirements set forth by SACSCOC accreditation.
- Hold a master's degree in a related field.

- A doctorate is preferred.
