Part-Time Faculty - Eye Care Technology (Central)
About The Position
Teaches Eye Care Technology-related coursework. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted continuously and reviewed if openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective course. Teaching assignments may include evening and possibly weekend classes. Faculty may teach using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College; assignments may require physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Associate degree or higher.
- Three years of work experience in eye care.
- Para-optometric certification or OSC scribe certification.
Responsibilities
- Teach Eye Care Technology-related coursework.
- Teach courses using delivery methods suited to the teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
