Part-Time Faculty - Eye Care Technology - ABO-C - Laboratory Instructor (Central)
About The Position
Teaches Eye Care Technology and laboratory-related coursework. Part-time faculty applications are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed when openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may involve evening and possibly weekend classes. Courses may be delivered using different methods depending on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College; some methods may require physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- ABO-C certificate.
- Three years of work experience in Opticianry.
