Part-Time Faculty - Engineering (Day Programs)
About The Position
Framingham State University (FSU) is seeking Part-Time Faculty for its Engineering Day Programs. FSU is a public institution dedicated to providing accessible, affordable educational opportunities that integrate liberal arts with workforce preparation. The university enrolls approximately 3,000 undergraduate and 1,200 graduate students across 60 programs. This position is for potential part-time, non-benefited faculty to teach engineering courses in the Environment, Society, and Sustainability Department. The role may involve teaching in online, hybrid, or face-to-face formats. Responsibilities include developing syllabi and instructional materials, assessing student performance, and providing student assistance and mentorship.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Evidence of expertise, scholarly activity, or creative work appropriate to the discipline.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, and belonging in the curriculum and the classroom.
Nice To Haves
- PhD or other terminal degree in related field.
- Successful college teaching experience.
