Part-Time Faculty - Economics (SJC Online)
About The Position
San Jacinto College is accepting applications on a continuous basis for part-time faculty who may teach Economics-related coursework through San Jac Online. These positions are not current vacancies; applications will be reviewed if openings become available. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective courses. Faculty are assigned to teach courses online based on their teaching area and the needs of students and the College. San Jac Online faculty must reside in Texas. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year. The posting lists Salary Grade AH and a closing date of August 31, 2027, at 6 p.m. CST.
Requirements
- Master's degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Economics.
- Reside in the state of Texas.
Responsibilities
- Teach Economics-related coursework using online delivery methods.
- Teach courses assigned according to the faculty member's teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
