Part-Time Faculty - Business (SJC Online)
About The Position
San Jac Online accepts applications on a continuous basis for part-time Business faculty positions. These applications are reviewed if openings become available; the positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the courses. Faculty teach Business-related coursework online according to their teaching area and the needs of students and the College. San Jac Online faculty must reside in Texas. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary follows the Board-approved schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or above with 18 graduate hours in Business Management Development.
- At least 3 years of full-time work experience in a business environment, excluding teaching.
- Must reside in the state of Texas.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive business work experience and/or industry credentials may substitute for some graduate-level business courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach Business-related coursework using online delivery methods.
- Teach courses assigned according to the faculty member’s teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
