Part-Time Faculty - Accounting (Generation Park)
About The Position
Teach Accounting-related coursework at Generation Park. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted continuously and reviewed when openings become available; these positions are not current vacancies. Part-time faculty are hired on an as-needed basis and work for the duration specified by the respective course. A portion of the teaching assignment may involve evening and possibly weekend classes. Courses may be delivered using various methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College; some assignments may require physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
Requirements
- Master's degree or above with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Business Management Development.
- At least 3 years of full-time work experience, excluding teaching, in a business environment.
Nice To Haves
- Extensive business work experience and/or industry credentials may substitute for some graduate-level business courses.
Responsibilities
- Teach Accounting-related coursework.
- Teach courses using delivery methods assigned according to the teaching area and the needs of students and the College.
- Work for the duration specified by the respective course; assignments may include evening and possibly weekend classes and may require an on-site presence.
