About The Position

Monsignor Slade Edu-Care Center is seeking teachers and aides for their before- and after-school child care program. The role requires individuals who are qualified, experienced, caring, compassionate, and passionate about working with children. Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Minimum of a High School Diploma and 90-hour child care certification.
An appreciation for young students and their families.
Willingness to support the mission of the Catholic Faith and the Archdiocese of Baltimore Catholic Schools.
Must meet all requirements established by the MSDE Office of Child Care.

Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, implement, and supervise age-appropriate activities for children in the classroom or assigned group.
Attend staff and parent meetings as needed.
Maintain confidentiality at all times.
Provide continuous visual and auditory supervision to ensure the safety of children in the classroom, on the playground, and during field trips.
Maintain appropriate and professional communication with families.
Participate in required and recommended training programs and workshops, including CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, Emergency Preparedness, Orientation, and Communication.
