About The Position

The Pennsylvania University Intercollegiate Athletics department is hiring Part-Time Event Management Interns to assist with all aspects of event management for all regular season intercollegiate home athletic events. Some prep/wrap up work in the office may be required. Special projects will include assisting with all aspects of possible Special Events and Big Ten/EIVA/AHA/NCAA Championships and Tournaments.

Requirements

• Must be a current Penn State student
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Must successfully complete a motor vehicle records check
• Must successfully complete background check(s) in accordance with University policies

Responsibilities

• Hang up/take down flags
• Distribute/collect event equipment
• Sign in event staff
• Ensure proper set up/tear down for event
• Greet visiting team/officials and escort to locker rooms
• Direct security and other event staff as needed
• Take attendance and ensure a safe, fun, enjoyable environment for all participants
• Assist with all aspects of possible Special Events and Big Ten/EIVA/AHA/NCAA Championships and Tournaments
