About The Position

The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is seeking qualified and credentialed teachers for the 2026-2027 school year in the Expanded Learning Opportunity Program. This position focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for TK/K learners through play-based learning, enriching academic experiences, hands-on activities, and engaging centers. The role involves implementing curriculum, supervising students, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment for social-emotional and academic success.

Requirements

• Valid California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with CLAD/English Learner Authorization or a Bilingual: Spanish (BCLAD/BILA) credential.
• Must hold a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and CLAD/English Learner or Bilingual: Spanish (BCLAD/BILA) Authorization.
• Letter of introduction
• Resume
• Three (3) letters of recommendation (preferably within the last year and at least one from a direct supervisor)
• Copy of credential or letter from the university stating anticipated credential type and issuance date
• Copies of transcripts reflecting degree/major and any postgraduate coursework
• Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical
• Satisfactory completion of a drug/alcohol screening test
• Fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and FBI
• Current verification of a negative T.B. test or x-ray

Responsibilities

• Create and implement lesson plans that support developmental milestones and academic growth.
• Design engaging centers and activities that encourage exploration, creativity, and problem-solving.
• Implement the provided curriculum and utilize supplied materials to enhance the after school classroom experience.
• Actively supervise and support students, ensuring their safety, well-being, and individual needs are met.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment that promotes both social-emotional and academic success.
