About The Position

The Education Services Coordinator assists the principal in the daily operational functions of the education program. They also act as a liaison between the Education Department and other departments in the residential treatment program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (required)
  • One year of experience in a residential setting (required)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
  • Applicants must possess a current, valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a school setting (strongly preferred)
  • Experience working with children with severe emotional and behavioral needs (plus)

Responsibilities

  • Attends weekly hold review meetings as well as weekly management meetings
  • Attends weekly staffing/recruiting meetings to provide necessary updates
  • Uploads interview notes for all candidates to the SharePoint site
  • Monitors and reports residential, clinical, and education staffing needs and/or concerns to the Recruiting Department
  • Compiles weekly HR reports to ensure all required documentation is accurate for program staff (e.g., performance reviews) as well as new hires (e.g. transcripts, signed job description, driver's license, etc.)
  • Completes "create job requisition" task in Workday to request new job requisitions for assigned supervisory organization(s)
  • Conducts first interviews with new applicants and shares interview notes with the appropriate hiring manager
  • Ensures program managers as well as supervisors are aware of onboarding status (e.g., background checks, drug tests, agility and strength evaluations (ASE), and fingerprints)
  • Schedules and facilitates new hire meetings for the first 8 weeks from new hire's start date
  • Works directly with HR concerning issues with program staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned
