About The Position

Wellspring Community is a local non-profit that celebrates adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our mission is to create a community where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are empowered to live full, productive, and satisfying lives in a God-centered environment. We are seeking an experienced, responsible driver with a clean driving record to drive our 15-passenger van to transport our participants from our program in the safest possible manner. This is a part-time opportunity, approximately 20 hours per week, with a split shift schedule.

Requirements

• Must be 25 years or older.
• Valid CO Driver's License required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Employment contingent on obtaining DOT Certification and passing Background Check and Drug Screen.

Responsibilities

• Transport participants in a 15-passenger van.
• Greet participants courteously and pleasantly.
• Assist participants in and out of the vehicle and with securing seatbelts.
• Drive responsibly and abide by all local and state laws.
• Keep the van fueled, maintained, and clean.
• Maintain a transportation log daily.
• Complete and submit all required documentation.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or incidents to the Transportation Manager.
