About The Position

The Relief Driver position requires driving tractors with trailers up to 53' in length to deliver goods to stores and meeting all company policies and delivery schedules as well as DOT rules and regulations. This position also requires working in the warehouse while meeting warehouse standards and developing good working relationships with stores and/or company personnel.

Requirements

• Class A Commercial Driver's License
• DOT certified with all qualification requirements
• Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Enjoy working with people
• Electronic logging according to Company policy and FMCSA regulations
• Comply with FMCSR, DOT & Company policies and procedures
• 1-2 years of recent tractor-trailer experience
• 1-2 years of supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment
• One year of recent applicable CMV experience or participation/completion of a company approved CDL truck driving school

Responsibilities

• Driving tractors with trailers up to 53' in length to deliver goods to stores.
• Meeting all company policies and delivery schedules as well as DOT rules and regulations.
• Working in the warehouse while meeting warehouse standards.
• Developing good working relationships with stores and/or company personnel.
• Utilizing specialized skills to operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc…), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product.
• Loading and unloading (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day.
• Inspecting, documenting and ensuring equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Inspecting equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.
