The Part-Time Cross-Utilized Agent will be responsible for greeting passengers, providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience, and using reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes. This role ensures passenger information is processed accurately and flights depart on time. Agents will also handle passenger issues arising from flight interruptions, potentially work in the Baggage Service Office to track baggage and answer questions, and maintain composure while managing customer challenges. The position requires comfort with computers, mobile devices, and new technologies, as well as the physical ability to stand and walk for an eight-hour shift, lift and handle baggage, read and interpret baggage tags, prep and secure aircraft, use radio electronic devices, and ensure compliance with regulations. Specific physical demands include lifting up to 70 lbs, pushing/pulling carts, ascending/descending jet-way stairs, bending/stooping/crawling, driving ground equipment, and cleaning aircraft interiors. Agents will also work outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions.
