About The Position
Our Culinary Leads/ Cooks are vital to provide quality life for our residents by preparing and cooking exceptional food to ensure a pleasant dining experience. This is a part-time every other weekend position. Hours are every other Saturday and Sunday 5:30 am-2:00 pm.
Requirements
- Qualified candidates will have a passion for serving older adults and cooking meals that look and taste great.
- They will possess high personal integrity and a caring attitude.
- Our Culinary Leads stay active on their feet through the day and must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and move boxes and equipment around to complete job duties.
- Qualified candidates will have a background in cooking for large groups and will have a history of high quality food and customer service!
- They will possess high personal integrity, a caring attitude and portray a positive image.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, cooking, and serving breakfast and lunch for residents.
- Creating open communication with culinary assistants and delegating tasks when needed
- Keeping work environment clean and orderly
- Dishwashing
