The City of Turlock is seeking applicants for the Part-Time Clerical position in our Turlock Police Department. This position requires excellent customer services skills as well as the ability to operate various types of office equipment. This position also requires knowledge of English usage, spelling, grammar, punctuation and basic mathematical computation. Candidates must attach/provide a typing certificate, forty-five (45) words per minute net corrected to the employment application form. The typing certification must be obtained through an agency that can validate the certificate, such as a temporary employment agency, employment center, school/college. A self-administered/online test will not be acceptable. This position is expected to work approximately 20 hours per week. Part-time employees do not receive full benefits. An eligibility list will be established from this recruitment that will be valid for six (6) months. Only the first 75 applications submitted will be considered.
