About The Position

MaidThis Jersey City & Hoboken is a boutique residential and commercial cleaning company specializing in premium apartment deep cleans, high-end move-outs, and local business sanitization. We are seeking an outgoing, community-focused local resident to act as our Community Brand Ambassador. This role involves building relationships with other small businesses in the neighborhood by distributing marketing materials and introductory gifts. The ideal candidate is someone active in the local community, familiar with the business scene, and enjoys casual interactions.

Requirements

• Must be a local resident of Jersey City & Hoboken, NJ.
• Outgoing and community-focused personality.
• Active in local groups, neighborhood chats, or school communities.
• Naturally social, charismatic, and professional.
• Comfortable introducing yourself to local business staff.
• Ability to work autonomously and get daily steps in.
• Must be available to complete 5 hours per week during standard business hours (Mon-Fri, 9am–5pm).
• Submit resume and a message about your favorite local neighborhood spot or coffee shop in JC or Hoboken.

Responsibilities

• Walk local business corridors (e.g., Washington St. in Hoboken or Downtown JC) for 5 hours per week.
• Drop off premium MaidThis marketing kits, checklist folders, and small introductory gifts to local businesses (medical offices, fitness spaces, daycares, boutiques).
• Introduce yourself with a smile, leave marketing materials, and obtain the name and email of the office manager or owner for follow-up.
• Pass the gatekeeper with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
