About The Position

Join a Winning Team at Redkey Transportation Services! Are you looking for meaningful part-time work and a little extra income? RTS is seeking caring, reliable Part-Time Drivers to provide safe transportation for passengers in our community who depend on us. We are looking for drivers that can cover as a backup for driver call offs and scheduled off time. You won’t be just driving — you’ll be caring for people. As a Part-Time Driver, you’ll help provide safe, dependable transportation for students that may live outside the normal bus routes, individuals with developmental and physical needs, residence of care facilities, assisted living, and similar communities, wheelchair transportation, and people traveling to medical appointments, hospitals and doctor visits.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• 2+ years of driving experience
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
• Reliability: Our passengers and their families depend on you every day

Nice To Haves

• Experience with route tracking systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting passengers to and from schools, medical appointments, and care facilities
• Assisting passengers as needed (such as entering/exiting the vehicle, securing wheelchairs, etc.)
• Following assigned routes and schedules and documenting trips as required
• Providing kind, patient, and respectful interaction with passengers and caregivers
• Maintaining a clean, safe vehicle and following all safety and compliance standards
