About The Position
A welcoming active military family in Chesapeake, VA 23321 is seeking an experienced and compassionate babysitter for their two young children (ages 3 and 6). The schedule is primarily Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays from 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM, with flexibility for occasional school pickups, after-school activities, and a weekly date night. The home is smoke-free and the family has a 7-year-old Golden retriever.
Requirements
- Proven child caregiving or babysitting experience
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and a clean driving record
- Ability to safely transport children to activities
- Comfortable around pets
Nice To Haves
- First Aid/CPR certifications
Responsibilities
- Provide engaging personal care, including assistance with bathing and dressing
- Plan meals, prepare food, and feed the children
- Provide safe transportation to and from school and extra-curricular activities
- Accompany children to activities outside the home
