About The Position
A family in Philadelphia, PA 19146 is seeking an engaging, reliable part-time babysitter for a 12-year-old child. The ideal candidate will support home school learning activities, assist with homework, and provide safe transportation. The household includes one child (age 12) and 1 cat. It is a home school environment in a smoke-free home. The family values support with educational activities, arts & crafts, and homework.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare, tutoring, or educational support
- Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and clean driving record
- Comfortable around pets (1 cat in home)
- Awareness and ability to assist with managing minor childhood health needs (asthma/allergies)
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must pass a background check
Responsibilities
- Primary support and supervision during home school activities and homework
- Plan and engage in educational activities and arts & crafts
- Provide safe transportation to and from activities
- Assist with light household tasks, including child's laundry once per week
