Requirements

Secondary School Graduation Diploma
Minimum of six (6) months related experience, including: building maintenance and cleaning, event set-up and clean-up, building equipment repair, customer service and operational responsibility of facilities
Current Standard First Aid and C.P.R. “C” certifications
Ability to use tools and equipment properly and safely
Ability to lift heavy objects
A valid, satisfactory police criminal record check to work with the vulnerable sector

Responsibilities

Cleaning and general maintenance/repair of the facility
Set-up and clean-up for rental/permit groups
Providing customer service and responding to the needs of the public and rental organizations
Facility supervision and operational responsibility, including providing leadership and direction to junior employees
Completion of daily maintenance management records
Responsibility for opening and closing the facility
Operating building security system and performing checks on all emergency systems
Mitigating risks and ensuring the safety of all users and staff within the facility
Other duties as may be assigned
