About The Position

The Part Time Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, applying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple areas to support business needs. The role also supports store culture, sales-floor presentation, store recovery, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience.
Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain merchandising standards and follow established merchandising procedures.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
