Part-time Application Reader

About The Position
The Part-Time Reader works from home and reviews admission applications. The position has a seasonal nature, with the majority of the work concentrated between October and March. Training occurs in August/September, and occasional small projects may be available in the spring/summer months. The hours are variable depending on the application load, with no guarantee of a specific number of hours per week. The role requires reliable internet access from home and may require evening and weekend work to meet application deadlines.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree.
- Working knowledge of admission practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of student database management systems.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Ability to participate in a fast paced, creative, change oriented and success driven environment.
- Reliable internet access from home.
- Must be able to include a resume and cover letter for consideration.
Nice To Haves
- 2-4 years of college admission/college counseling experience.
Responsibilities
- Receive training on how to review an admission application.
- Be assigned applications to review and meet assigned deadlines.
- Receive training on how to complete small side projects related to application review (as work is available).
