About The Position
We are a dad and daughter duo with a sweet 6-year-old daughter seeking a compassionate, patient, and upbeat caregiver. Our ideal nanny will encourage our daughter's independence by providing gentle guidance and support, offering choices, and engaging activities. While a fun and positive approach is preferred, the nanny must also be comfortable setting clear expectations and maintaining appropriate boundaries. The role involves meeting the daughter at the bus, providing screen-free care through outdoor play, creative activities, and home projects. Responsibilities also include preparing and serving dinner, preparing snacks, completing laundry, and assisting with the bedtime routine. This is a part-time position with guaranteed weekly hours, ending mid-May.
Requirements
- At least two years of childcare experience with children around a 6-year-old's age.
- Compassionate and fun "big sister" type energy.
- Comfortable setting clear expectations and maintaining appropriate boundaries.
- Ability to offer choices and engaging activities.
- Follow CDC guidelines and best hygiene practices for COVID-19 safety.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with the Jewish faith.
- Familiarity with the Hebrew language.
Responsibilities
