About The Position

The UF College of Nursing is seeking adjunct clinical faculty to teach pre-licensure BSN students in clinical and/or learning laboratory settings, as well as experienced nurse practitioners to teach in the DNP program. This part-time role offers flexibility tailored to personal scheduling needs and involves a semester-at-a-time commitment with an adjunct OPS faculty appointment and professional development opportunities. Clinical faculty are integral to student education, supervising student care, teaching skills, conducting simulations, debriefing students, and evaluating performance.

Requirements

Active license as an RN in the state of Florida
At least two years of clinical experience (for BSN program)
At least two years of clinical experience at the graduate level (for DNP program)
MSN or doctoral degree in nursing (for BSN program)
DNP in a clinical area or a clinical MSN (ARNP) with a DNP or PhD (for DNP program)
Substantive experience in course focus
Health Assessment Required: Yes

Supervising care provided by a group of students while they complete their clinical rotation in your area of specialty

Debriefing students after their clinical rotations
Evaluating students’ experiential performance and written work
