About The Position
Keene State College is seeking clinical adjuncts to serve in the Nursing department for the Fall 2026-2027 academic year. The role involves supervising students in a clinical setting and conducting post-clinical debriefings in accordance with Keene State and Cheshire Medical Center policies. This is an in-person position.
Requirements
- BS in Nursing with 5 years of experience
- Unencumbered RN license in New Hampshire
- Current Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- Demonstrate comprehensive expertise and knowledge of nursing care
- Collaborate with fulltime nursing instructor and program director
- Knowledge in nursing education in the clinical setting
- Thoughtful reflection on teaching effectiveness and student evaluation
- Willingness to create a proactive plan to address any issues with student performance
- Effective communication skills
- Encouragement of responsible, independent, analytic, or creative thought by students
Nice To Haves
- DNP, PhD or MS in Nursing with a specialty certification in a clinical area
Responsibilities
- Supervising students in a clinical setting
- Conducting a post-clinical debrief following Keene State and Cheshire Medical Center policies
- Creating student assignments
- Supervising safe medication administration
- Evaluating student performance and providing constructive feedback for improvement
- Reviewing and responding to weekly reflection assignments
- Conducting clinical evaluations at midterm and final of clinical experience
