About The Position
The Department of Biology invites applications for a part-time Academic Instructor position to teach the lecture section only of BIOL 116/215 (Microbiology for Nursing/Human Nutrition) totaling 2 credits. This position will replace an instructor on leave for part of the winter term of the 2026-2027 academic year (January and February - exacts dates to be determined). This position is subject to final budgetary approval.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Biology
- Previous teaching experience
- Familiarity with the range of topics taught in BIOL 116 (Microbiology for Nursing) and BIOL 215 (Microbiology for Human Nutrition)
- Commitment to contributing to the university’s priorities of equity, diversity, and inclusion.
