About The Position
Love working outdoors and staying active? Join our Parks team and play a hands-on role in maintaining the spaces our community uses every day. We're hiring 4 Part-Time Parks Laborers to perform a variety of hands-on duties including park maintenance, custodial cleaning, landscaping, and event support. This is a physically active, outdoor position where your work directly impacts the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of our parks.
Requirements
- Some manual labor, custodial, or landscape experience
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Cleaning, stocking, opening, and closing park restrooms and facilities
- Trash and debris removal in parks, open spaces, and rights-of-way
- Mowing, trimming, weeding, and general landscape maintenance
- Operating equipment such as mowers, blowers, trimmers, and other tools
- Assisting with setup and tear down for community events
- During peak summer months, parks are heavily used and a significant portion of this role involves custodial work, including frequent restroom cleaning and trash removal.
