The Parks and Recreation Maintenance Worker performs manual work in a variety of parks and facility maintenance assignments for the Parks & Recreation Department. Responsibilities primarily include cleaning and maintaining park restroom facilities, emptying trash receptacles, monitoring park conditions, assisting with minor repairs and upkeep tasks, and supporting the overall cleanliness and appearance of parks and recreational amenities. Employee may operate light equipment and tools in connection with assigned duties and assist with special projects or events as needed. Maintenance Worker duties include, but are not limited to: This position supports the daily cleanliness, maintenance, and operational upkeep of Town parks, restroom facilities, trails, playgrounds, pavilions, and other recreational amenities to help ensure safe, clean, and welcoming public spaces.
