Parking Valet Attendant
About The Position
Propark Mobility is currently hiring Valet Attendants for full-time and part-time opportunities to start immediately. The role involves cheerfully greeting guests, parking and retrieving vehicles safely and efficiently, explaining parking rates, and inspecting vehicles before taking possession. Attendants are expected to maintain a professional appearance, resolve issues, and be an active and pleasant presence. The job requires being outdoors for most of the day, involving standing, walking, and occasionally assisting with items up to 50lbs. Local management may also assign small cleaning or maintenance tasks or other special projects.
Requirements
- At least 21 years old.
- Valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
- Energetic, outgoing.
- Able to stand, run, and carry items up to 50lbs.
- Great communicator in both written and spoken language.
- Friendly, professional approach to everyone.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willing to work weekends and some overnight shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Valet parking experience: 1 year+
- Customer service experience: 1 year+
- Can drive a manual (standard, stick-shift) transmission.
Responsibilities
- Cheerfully greet guests and sincerely thank them upon exit.
- Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a safe and timely manner.
- Explain the parking rates and provide instructions for guests to retrieve their self-park vehicles.
- Inspect each vehicle before taking possession and follow company guidelines.
- Maintain company uniform appearance.
- Resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
- Complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks or other special projects as assigned by local management.
