About The Position

Oak View Group (OVG) is seeking a part-time Parking Supervisor for event parking in the San Diego area. The Parking Supervisor will be responsible for supervising parking staff, ensuring safe and efficient traffic patterns, and assisting the Parking Manager with various event day operations. This role requires a high school education or equivalent, previous supervisory experience is preferred, and 2-3+ years of experience in event or parking operations is also preferred. The position offers an hourly rate of $22.00 and includes a 401(k) savings plan with matching.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent.
Must be able to legally operate vehicles.
Strong customer communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as a team player.
Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings, and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory experience preferred.
2-3+ years of previous experience in event operations or parking operations is preferred.
Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain core values while working on property.
Inspect parking lots several times throughout the day.
Ensure safe and efficient traffic patterns for all guests.
Assist manager with event day operations of parking lots and traffic flow.
Assist the Manager with enforcement of the employee parking program.
Ensure event day checklists are followed & completed for the entirety of the event.
Ensure the campus is set up and lots are ready for the event.
Report traffic incidents in lots to the manager.
Perform traffic material/supply inventory along with our parking operations.
Perform inventory management.
Assist the Manager by gathering information to respond to guest inquiries and investigate complaints / concerns.
Assisting with the continuous evaluation and adjustment of the pedestrian and vehicle wayfinding signage program.
