Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in administrative law, code enforcement, paralegal work, or high-level customer service involving conflict resolution.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of department operations, policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate activities, resources, and materials associated with the needs of the department or program.
  • Ability to interpret complex legal codes and apply them to specific often unique scenarios.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to maintain neutrality, professionalism, and clarity under pressure.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Campus parking enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate written parking citation appeals in accordance with established policies and procedures; determine appropriate outcomes including upholding, reducing, issuing warnings, or dismissing citations.
  • Prepare and deliver clear, professional written responses that communicate decisions and support rationale.
  • Serve as a point of contact for escalated customer inquiries, resolving complex issues with professionalism, consistency, and sound judgment.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of campus parking facilities, including signage and lot conditions, to ensure accuracy, visibility, and alignment with enforcement practices.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements as needed.
  • Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty.
  • Ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
