About The Position

This role involves monitoring designated streets, lots, garages, and/or an entire campus to ensure compliance with parking policies. The associate will provide customer service, issue citations, manage vehicle egress, assist with facility upkeep, handle revenue collection, and support event and office staff. The position requires independent judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with people, as well as the ability to multitask in both field and office settings.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by answering questions regarding directions, events, building locations and parking policies.
  • Explain how to make a parking fee payment using onsite Pay-stations, TEXT2PARK and QR Code platforms.
  • Learn all onsite tenant validation programs.
  • Issue citations and warnings for non-compliance using a computerized handheld computer or manual tickets.
  • Impound, boot, or relocate vehicles as directed.
  • Assist customers at every exit lane and properly manage egress.
  • Replace parking equipment's arm gates when needed.
  • Assist maintenance staff with duties related to parking program and facility upkeep and maintenance, including inspecting and assessing lots for maintenance issues, painting, cleaning, and repairing parking meters and pay and display machines, installing signs, signposts, and meter posts.
  • Assist in the collection and security of all monies received through parking citation, multi-parking space, TEZ technology and any other means of collecting parking revenues and fees.
  • Assist event staff with activities related to parking for events, including setting up for events, traffic control, receipt of payment for parking, and lot usage control.
  • Assist office staff with activities related to permit sales during peak seasons, including data entry, collating mailings, and providing frontline customer service.
  • Prepare and input daily field reported financial data and keypunch all data into daily revenue reports files and system.
  • Maintain individual client parking accounts; Adds, deletes, & account changes.
  • Enter and post monthly receivable payments.
  • Coordinate, monitor, review and collect overdue/outstanding accounts.
  • Create daily parking revenue report from TEZ, Flow Bird, Verge, Park-Link, SMS and T2P platforms.
  • Pull daily parking revenue report from TEZ, Flow Bird, Verge, Park-Link, SMS and T2P platforms.
  • Daily paperwork revenue reconciliation.
  • Pull reports from different revenue stream platforms.
  • Create a daily DCR and update all daily reports.
  • Update the daily traffic counts report.
  • Update parking enforcement revenue report.
  • Update Tenant Validation Report.
  • Perform accounts payable, bank reconciliations, detailed record keeping, answering phones and filing, client communication.
  • Interact with Operations Manager.
