Parking Attendant (Seasonal: November-December)

Daniel Stowe Conservancy•Belmont, NC
•Onsite

About The Position

Parking attendants for events at Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont play an important role in helping festivals and other events run smoothly by directing guests and ensuring safety. Most of the shift takes place outdoors directing traffic and guiding vehicles during the busiest arrival period for the event. The role is outdoors, and attendants spend long stretches standing, walking, and communicating with drivers while keeping cars moving safely and efficiently. At peak times the pace can be fast and occasionally stressful, especially when many vehicles arrive at once. While most guests are friendly, some may be impatient if traffic is slow. Parking attendants work closely together, support one another during busy moments, and play a key role in helping events run smoothly.
