About The Position

The Town of Vail, Colorado, is seeking energetic and service-minded professionals to join their Parking Team full-time. As a Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for greeting visitors, assisting with parking and traffic flow, maintaining clean and safe facilities, and ensuring a positive guest experience. This role operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment within a renowned resort destination.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous customer service experience
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, professional attitude

Nice To Haves

Previous cashiering experience preferred

Responsibilities

Be approachable, friendly, and accessible to guests, creating a welcoming first impression and delivering outstanding service.
Accurately collect parking fees with professionalism and a smile.
Utilize software systems to assist guests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and monitor traffic flow.
Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and logs.
Provide courteous assistance to customers and respond to general inquiries with a positive, helpful attitude.
Perform traffic control duties to ensure safe and efficient vehicle and pedestrian movement.
Respond promptly and professionally to guest and citizen questions, concerns, and complaints to exceed service expectations.
Monitor radio traffic and communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and management as needed.
Audit vehicles and monitor parking facilities for space availability, rule compliance, and safety concerns.
Maintain parking areas by performing light maintenance such as sweeping, trash collection, cleaning, and basic equipment upkeep.
Assist with guest communication by updating signage and providing accurate parking and directional information.
Safely operate Town of Vail vehicles as required.
Perform other duties as assigned to support team and departmental goals.
