Park Services Associate - JOB FAIR
About The Position
The Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens is hiring Park Services Associates to help keep guest areas clean and create enjoyable experiences for visitors. Work includes custodial duties, operating attractions such as the train, carousel, theater, and water park, and setting up for special events. The work is mostly outdoors in Jacksonville weather. This is a part-time position of up to 29.5 hours per week, paying $15 per hour. Scheduling must be flexible and include weekends, holidays, and night events during the busy season. The job fair includes a brief team and role introduction, a group interview, and individual interviews, and is expected to take 1–2.5 hours. Applicants must apply online before attending. Successful candidates will complete a drug screen, physical, and background check at a separate location after the interview.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid license to drive organizational vehicles.
- Flexible scheduling, including weekends, holidays, and night events during the busy season.
