About The Position
FuntoNetwork is seeking a Park Safety, Accessibility and Quality Inspector for an upcoming project opportunity: John Chavis Memorial Park – Phase 2. This role involves executing the scope for verifying safety, ADA accessibility, material, installation, environmental, and acceptance requirements across the work. The inspector will prepare compliance plans, review submittals and records, document defects, and verify corrective actions. They will also trace assigned work to the RFP scope, review solicitation materials, prepare technical inputs, coordinate with various workstreams, and maintain records while escalating blockers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience performing Park Safety, Accessibility and Quality Inspector responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
- Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
- Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
Responsibilities
- Execute the Park Safety, Accessibility and Quality Inspector scope for John Chavis Memorial Park – Phase 2.
- Verify safety, ADA accessibility, material, installation, environmental, and acceptance requirements across the work.
- Prepare the role-specific compliance, inspection, test, or assurance plan with checkpoints, sampling, evidence, and pass/fail criteria.
- Review the applicable controls, submittals, configurations, records, and field or system results against the solicitation and approved baseline.
- Record defects, exceptions, severity, ownership, corrective actions, and due dates in a traceable findings register.
- Verify corrective actions through retest or reinspection and submit the signed acceptance recommendation with the complete evidence package.
- Trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence.
- Review official solicitation materials and addenda affecting this workstream; document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions.
- Prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence.
- Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
- Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records and escalate blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness.
