Requirements

  • Prior experience in commercial kitchens
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Commitment to cleanliness and food safety
  • Serve-safe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Four years of food preparation experience in salads, vegetables, or meats.
  • Two years of the required experience must include management or supervision in a large-scale institutional or commercial full-service restaurant or state resort park food facility.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and food prep
  • Plan and execute menus for guests and special events
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage inventory and assist with staff scheduling
  • Work closely with the Food Operations Manager on kitchen performance and staffing
