About The Position
The purpose of this position is to provide part-time staff support at the Historical Park including weekends and special events.
Requirements
- Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes.
- Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency.
- One year public contact or customer service experience preferred.
- Employment is conditional upon successful completion of a criminal background check, drug and alcohol test, and a motor vehicle review.
- Valid driver's license with good driving record and ability to maintain while employed.
Responsibilities
- Provides general staff support including answering phones, working with reservations, running errands, greeting guests, giving tours, and general administrative support.
- Performs general cleaning services including restrooms, park grounds, litter and trash control, power washing pathways, and weeding flower beds.
- Performs general park maintenance including painting, safety inspection of structures, pest control, and landscaping.
