The City of Sugar Land is seeking a part-time Park Ambassador in the Parks and Recreation Department. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid Texas Driver’s License Class C

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for driving city vehicles to monitor City parks.
  • Routinely check park equipment to ensure it is properly functioning.
  • Ensure that parks and fields are being used properly by patrons.
  • Interact with patrons on a regular basis and provide excellent customer service.
  • Work special events and special programs that are hosted by the City and the Parks and Recreation Department.
  • Required to work as an essential employee before, during and after an emergency or disaster.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct supervisor or Director.
  • Stay abreast of, and comply with, all City and departmental policies and procedures.
