This is a field-based position that will travel throughout Los Angeles County.

Requirements

  • GED or High School Diploma required.
  • Experience as a parent or care-providing family member of a consumer of mental health services, DCFS, or Department of Probation services.
  • Spanish fluency required to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Must possess a valid California driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record under the Clinics' liability policy.
  • May be required to obtain a Class II California driver’s license.
  • Must pass all applicable health, fingerprint/LiveScan and DMV clearances.

  • Parent Partner Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate access to mental health programs and services for clients and families.
  • Assess and identify needs.
  • Assist with completing applications or other documents.
  • Reduce language barriers by providing culturally sensitive care and using translation services when necessary.
  • Provide education and referrals as needed.
  • Provide field-based and trauma informed support services to clients/families.
  • Facilitate access for housing.
  • Work as part of dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide services.
  • Be on-call by phone 24/7.
  • Attend all required meetings, supervision, and case reviews as assigned.
  • Meet Agency service time and documentation requirements.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to provide all services in the field including client homes, schools or other locations.
